I’ve been working to change the dynamics of Professional Development in my district.

Rather than sitting through an entire day as someone goes over PowerPoint slides, I’ve been creating online learning modules that teachers can complete at their convenience. This means that when teachers come to the PD sessions, they come with specific questions rather than learning “how to use.”

This allows for more collaboration and one on one feedback in the training sessions.
